Last night as I was falling asleep, I thought about what I do, and what I sell. As my mind was moving over all the things I do in a day, it settled on the fact that I essentially sell data. Clients pay me for ones and zeros strung together. I start from nothing, and use a text editor, and years of experience, create a functional, recognizable user interface with which they can convey information.
There’s no cost to print this information, so they can be as wordy or as succinct as they like, and they can change information at a whim. They can communicate their thoughts to users, as I am doing now, and quickly. That’s all, I just wanted to share.
